Protein Research Group of the Laboratory of New Methods for Biology of the IBI RAS invites graduate students (master’s degree) to join postgraduate course in molecular biophysics.
The founders of the developments of equipment for cultivation of microorganisms and cells were academician N.D. Ierusalimski and corresponding member V.V. Tikhomirov. For the first time in the USSR the equipment for controlled cultivation of microorganisms was created in Puschino in 60-ths of the last century.
Currently, the lab develops a technological platform for cultivation of various microorganisms and cells (bacterial, yeast, mycelial, plant and animal cells) which can perform continuous and multiphase processes with liquid and solid substrates. The conception of technological platform in biotechnology combines properties of producer, method, equipment, technology and market potential. This is an integral characteristic of competitiveness level of scientific research and technology.
