Protein Research Group of the Laboratory of New Methods for Biology of the IBI RAS invites graduate students (master’s degree) to join postgraduate course in molecular biophysics.
The design of the agitator and aeration system makes possible to practically totally exclude the formation of foam during aeration and agitation of the culture liquid, to increase the load factor up to 0.8, and to ensure a stable level of the culture liquid in the bioreactor and its aseptic protection during periodic and continuous fermentation modes.
Fermentation module MF-4K is designed for operation in cascade mode and possesses four 3 L bioreactors made of stainless steel with a glass window.
Continuously working steam generator PG-20 is designed for generation of saturated water steam with given temperature and pressure. The steam generator ensures obtaining saturated water steam without any gas impurities, stabilization of the level of evaporated water, which excludes blowout of droplet liquid along with the steam flow and allow refill of water to the steam generator by means of a heat pump.
Gas sterilizer SG-3 has three channels of membrane filtration of gases and allows sterilization of aerating air, exhaust and technological gases.
Solution strilizer SR-10 ensures continuous dosated sterilization of liquid medium at given temperature, pressure and number of sterilization cycles. The sterilizer affords accelerated sterilization by means of intensive and controlled agitation of the sterilizing medium by saturated water steam, forced steam condensation with formation of distilled water, and sterilization of concentrated media followed by dilution by distilled water. The sterilizer has a storage capacitor and a dispenser pump providing a controlled input of a nutrient medium to the bioreactor.
Autoclave AK-25 is designed for sterilization of labware, tools and titrants. The use of the autoclave shortens the microorganisms inactivation time at the expense of cyclic steam flow in the autoclave.
The module provides full information about current state of the realized processes by means of symbolic circuits, graphical and symbol display. The module is used to ensure control of multistage processes.
Modular biotechnological equipment of the "Oka-01" series is designed for realization of multistage processes of cultivation of microorganisms including mycelial forms.
The equipment is designed for periodic and continuous (semicontinuous) biotechnological processes with the use of cascade modes of cultivation. The equipment allows application of a new mode of microorganism cultivation, a combined (liquid phase, solid phase) mode of cultivation. The combined method of cultivation and engineering solution of the intensified mass exchange in cultural liquid on the base of a draining films principle are defended by Russian Federation patents.
